PHYSICAL TESTS:
Development:
The exercises will be scored from 0 to 10 points. If a score of 0 is obtained, the candidate will be automatically eliminated from the selection process.
It will be necessary to obtain an average of at least 5 points to pass the three exercises. We will now detail the tests and times.
First Test “Circuit”: Test to be performed by both men and women. The candidate will stand behind the starting line until hearing the start signal, at which point the following circuit will begin.
IMPORTANT! If the desired result is not achieved on the first attempt, you will have a second chance and will keep the best result.
Second test: upper body strength, bar hold for Women. The chin must be kept above the bar without swinging.
The exercise ends when the candidate lowers the chin below the bar. IMPORTANT!!! You have only one attempt for this test.
Second test: upper body strength, pull-up test for Men. From a dead hang with arms fully extended and palms facing forward, the candidate must begin performing pull-ups, fully passing the chin above the bar and fully extending the arms in each one. Swinging or using the trunk or legs for assistance is not allowed.
IMPORTANT!!! You have only one attempt for this test. If swinging occurs, the examiner will stop counting.
Third test: long-distance track race, 1,000 meters. The test consists of a 1,000-meter race on a 400-meter athletics track (2.5 laps) with a standing start. This one-kilometer distance must be completed in the shortest possible time.
IMPORTANT!!! You have only one attempt for this test. If you exceed the established times, you will be eliminated from the selection process.
SECOND TEST: KNOWLEDGE.
Multiple-choice questionnaire of 100 questions, with 50 minutes to respond, containing three alternative answers, only one of which is correct, covering the 44 topics in the syllabus. The formula used will be: [A–E/(n–1)]*10/P, where "A" is the number of correct answers, "E" is the number of errors, "n" is the number of answer alternatives, and "P" is the total number of questions.
The Tribunal establishes that those who have obtained at least 5 points after applying the formula expressed in the previous paragraph will be considered as passing this test.
VOLUNTARY LANGUAGE TEST: Voluntary language exercise. Candidates may voluntarily take a language knowledge test in English or French (only one of them), which can improve the final exam score by up to two points.
The option must be indicated in the application for participation in the process (box "voluntary language"). Any option made outside of this application will not be considered
