SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

  •  Academic requirements. Hold at least a Graduate in Compulsory Secondary Education, ESO, or its equivalents.
  • Foreign degrees, diplomas, or studies must be homologated to Spanish degrees. • Not having resigned from the assigned position or failed to report, without justified reasons, to the training center to begin the general military training phase or not having voluntarily withdrawn during it, by virtue of your participation in the last selection cycle prior to the one requested, regardless of the call to which that Cycle belongs.
  • Not being in the situation of pending repetition of the general military training phase corresponding to any of the Selection cycles of the current or previous calls, unless there is an express resignation addressed to the corresponding Director of Education. • You must also not have ended the commitment in a previous relationship with the Armed Forces, as a result of being deemed unsuitable in the mandatory evaluation prior to its renewal since January 1 of the year prior to the year of publication of this call.
  • In a previous relationship with the Armed Forces, not having been denied the subscription of the long-term commitment established by article 9 of Law 8/2006, of April 24, since January 1 of the year prior to the year of publication of this call.
  •  Not having been discharged from the training centers for troops and sailors for not passing, within the established deadlines, the tests provided in the study plans, initiated after 01/17/2010 (date of entry into force of Royal Decree 35/2010, of January 15).
  • Not having been rated "Permanently Unfit" in selection cycle number 1 of this call, by any Selection Center or Recognition Unit of the Hospitals and Health Centers of the Defense Hospital Network, for any of the reasons listed in the medical exclusion chart for admission to military training centers.
  • If any position is offered, applicants for the fundamental specialty of Music, in addition to complying with what is indicated in base 3.3.a), must: o Prove to have passed at least the first two years of studies of the professional artistic teachings of Music, in the specialty of one of the instruments for which positions are offered. The studies must have been carried out in a center registered in the State Register of Non-University Teaching Centers (RCD).
  • Not having been excluded in any selection process for access and promotion in the Armed Forces, since January 1, 2021, for having tested positive for drug or psychotropic substance use, in the analysis that was carried out within the same.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • General and common requirements for all applicants (nationals and foreigners)
  • Possess Spanish nationality or that of one of the following foreign countries (in alphabetical order): Argentina, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Equatorial Guinea, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
  • Age. On the day of joining the corresponding military training center, you must be or have turned 18 years old before that date and not have turned 29 before that day.
  • Have no criminal record and not have any judicial procedure open as a defendant, accused, investigated, or prosecuted for a willful crime.
  • Not be deprived of civil rights.
  • Not have been separated, through disciplinary proceedings, from the service of any Public Administration, constitutional bodies, or statutory bodies of the autonomous communities. Nor be disqualified with a firm character for the exercise of public functions.
  • Possess the necessary psychophysical aptitude – It will be verified through the corresponding physical tests.
  • Be in possession of the required levels of studies or qualifications to access, if applicable, each position. You will see the academic requirements in point 3.
  • Not be a troop and marine soldier with an active commitment or be undergoing the general military training phase to acquire such status.
  • Not have had your commitment as a troop and marine soldier resolved as a consequence of:
  • • Insufficient professional skills.
  • • Imposition of extraordinary disciplinary sanction of separation from service by application of Organic Law 8/1998, of December 2, or by the imposition of disciplinary sanction of resolution of commitment and separation from service, in application of Organic Law 8/2014, of December 4, of the Disciplinary Regime of the Armed Forces.
  • Not having been discharged at any stage of military training education.

CLARIFICATION ON TATTOOS:

You must not have tattoos that could undermine discipline, the image of the Armed Forces, or that are contrary to constitutional values.

Tattoos, rings, spikes, insertions, self-mutilations, or similar modifications that are visible while wearing the standard attire for male and female personnel of the Armed Forces uniforms are also not permitted, except for special and physical education uniforms, whose designation, composition, and use are specified in the uniform regulations of the Armed Forces.

This is in accordance with Article 15.5 of the Regulations on Admission, Promotion, and Organization of Training in the Armed Forces, as amended by Royal Decree 378/2014 of May 30.
