DEVELOPMENT OF KNOWLEDGE TESTS:
• General knowledge: it is a general knowledge test with 100 multiple-choice questions
in which only one answer is correct.
• Spelling knowledge: it consists of five sentences numbered from 1 to 5. In each sentence, you will see four underlined words: A, B, C, and D. You will need to identify which ones contain spelling errors.
• Grammar knowledge: it consists of five questions numbered from 1 to 5, each including four sentences. You will need to identify those sentences that are grammatically incorrect.
• English test: it is a questionnaire of 20 questions. Each question has only one correct answer.
DEVELOPMENT OF PHYSICAL TESTS:
• Speed test.- A 50-meter track run that must be completed in no more than 8 seconds and 30 hundredths for men and 9 seconds 40 hundredths for women. One attempt only.
• Muscular endurance test.– A 1,000-meter track run that must be completed in no more than 4 minutes and 10 seconds for men and 4 minutes 50 seconds for women. One attempt only.
• Upper body extension test.– Performed by positioning the participant on the ground leaning forward. Hands should be placed in the most comfortable position keeping the arms perpendicular to the ground. The number of push-ups performed should not be less than 18 for men and 14 for women. Two spaced attempts will be allowed to allow recovery for the participant.
• Swimming test.– A 50-meter swim in a pool. The participant, standing at the edge of the pool, will dive into the water and complete the course in freestyle without support in a time not exceeding 70 seconds for men and 75 seconds for women. One attempt only.
